Tour Overview

Our Full day Premium Yarra Valley Cellar Door Tours are the perfect introduction to the stunning Yarra Valley wine region. The Yarra Valley is one of Victoria’s premium cool climate wine regions. The vineyards and winery incorporates an acclaimed restaurant, cellar door and shop. The vineyards are located in one of the prime positions in the Yarra Valley that takes in spectacular views; also you will be taken through a personalised wine tasting with a Winemaker.

Our first stop will be at Oak Tree Vineyard, Oak Tree vineyard is located in the highly acclaimed region of Coldstream, gateway to the Yarra Valley. It is a Boutique Estate premium, cool climate wines of unique character and exceptional quality. We specialize in Pinot Noir, Rose and Cabernet Sauvignon. Brian Murphy and Family would like to invite you to our new Oak tree Cellar Door where our fine wines can be tasted and enjoyed.

Next stop will be picturesque view of Oakridge Estate in Yarra Valley, The Winery was found in 1978. Today it is one of the best out of more than 60 wineries in the Yarra Valley. Firstly, it offers extremely high-quality reds. Secondly, it produces very high- quality Whites. The winery demonstrated the high performance during the last 20 years. Oakridge Yarra Valley was the: “Winery of the Year” in 2012 By The Age & Sydney Morning Herald. Also, the most VIP clients enjoy a private tasting. That tasting is a very special for VIP clients. It takes place on a secret decking with wonderful views of the estate and the valley behind.

Next stop will be Soumah of yarra Valley for Lunch or Yarrawood Estate or Grand Hotel in Healesville town.

Soumah of Yarra Valley wines are located on the foothills of Warramate Ranges with sweeping views across the vineyard. We produce award winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and also specialise in Northern Italian influence carries through to our restaurant where we serve antipasti, pasta and wood-fired pizza or

Lunch at Yarrawood Estate is situated in the heart of the world renowned cool climate wine growing region of the yarra valley. The Estate is internationally acclaimed for producing fine hand-crafted single vineyards wines. The Estate is 150 areas in size. National and international success has been achieved with the regional backbone varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the Estate has also been honoured with a multitude of accolades for their other leading varietals including shiraz, Riesing , sauvignon blanc and cabernet sauvignon.

Optional to visit the Yarra Valley Chocolate factory with delightful chocolate creations and free samples, watch chocolate making in factory.

Next visit is the De Bortoli winery Yarra Valley is a vibrant, Family friendly winery with a third generation Italian winery, De Bortoli to sniff and slurp your way through some sparking, red, white and reserve wines at De Bortali. Plus you’ll sample the iconic Noble one, Australia no 1 Desert Wine and the decadent Black Noble, Recognised for its World class wines, Enjoy the overlooking the valley’s rolling hills surrounded by the Great Dividing Ranges.

Finally we will be arriving to Yering Station Winery, It was established in 1838 by the pioneering Ryrie brothers who adopted the Aboriginal name “ YERING “ for their new station. In 1996 the Rathbone family purchased the property drawn to its natural beauty, history and the great promise of its wines. Today Yering Station is one of the Jewels of the Yarra Valley region. Attracting tourists to see Historical home and building sits harmoniously within the landscape of heritage architecture

Tour Terms & Conditions

Booking and Acceptance

1. Our Tour requires a minimum of four people to run. If tours have less than four people we reserve the right to cancel the tour. We will always seek to place you on another tour.

2. The Tour guide accepts the booking on the understanding that a deposit or full payment has been made and held by operator. Bookings made via yarravalleyfoodwinetours.com.au are considered to be booked with the operator directly.

3. I need in advance to confirm your selected tour packages with Wineries, Breweries and Distillery in Yarra Valley & Seville.

4. If your group is more than 4 people and up to 7 people travelling to Yarra Valley or Seville wineries I need an 8-seater van for the tour. If your group is between 6 to 11 people still I need to allocate a 12 seater van. Subject to availability, the tour guide will reserve your place on the selected Tours.

5. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your booking including tour, dates, times and meeting points. For bookings of multiple guests. A contract is only made between you and upon confirmation of your booking via email.

6. Upon confirmation of your booking you will receive an email advising such, and details of your Tour.

7. E.g If you book for 4 people, you pay for 4 people, if you booking for 8 people, you pay for 8 people up to 12 etc. Unless you advise us of a change to your numbers in advance, we want to give you maximum flexibility for possible changes to your numbers but retain the right to sell any unwanted seats at least 7 days prior to the tour.

8. In Order to reserve your place on a tour the tour must be paid in full via approved methods.

Change of Itinerary

Yarra Valley Cellar Door Tours reserves the right to amend tour times, itineraries and fares for its products, as circumstances, time of the year and operational reasons occur.

Itineraries are at the time of publishing and may differ slightly to those featured in the brochure. Occasionally our itineraries change as we make improvements based on comments from past travellers and our own research or there are changes in the offering from operators we use. If we are unable to utilise a product in our itinerary, a suitable alternative will be offered where possible.

Itineraries may vary or attractions be substituted for any cause including seasonal conditions, weather extremes, natural disasters, cultural issues. All activities in individual itineraries are included, extra activities will be available at your own expense.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Traveller;

Tour Cancellation Policy:

Booking cancelled More than 14 days prior to tour – prior to event date will be given a full refund, less $AU 50 administrative fee.

Cancellations between 13 days and 8 days prior to the event date incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Booking Cancelled Within 3 days of tour – event date incur a 100% cancellation fee.

If you postponing the tour or rescheduling the tour 30% of your 50 % deposited confirmation fee will be kept by Yarra Valley Cellar Tours to re-schedule the tour for a future date.

Transfer Cancellation Policy*:

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations after full payment and 2-7 days prior to transfer – 50% refund.

Cancellations after full payment and within 2 days of transfer – no refund.

Cancellation by Yarra Valley Cellar Door Tour;

We may cancel a tour 21days before departure if minimum are not reached. If a tour is cancelled due to minimum passenger numbers not being reached, passenger will be offered an alternate tour option or tour date, or be provided with a full refund.

At times Yarra valley Cellar Door Tours may have to cancel a tour or service, event every effort will be made to offer a suitable alternative. If the alternative is not suitable we will refund your tour price in full.

At times we reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time prior to departure, due to terrorism, bush fires, natural disasters or covid-19 pandemic restrictions external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned Itinerary. If we cancelled your tour, you can transfer amounts paid to an alternate departure date or receive a full refund.

In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external factors beyond our control, any potential refund will be less any unrecoverable cost which we may have incurred.

Payment Requirements

50 % deposit required to secure booking for 1 to 4 Passengers – payable by direct deposit to our bank account made payable to Yarra Valley Cellar Door Tours. 5 people or less than 12 people booking payment requirement will apply above mentioned payment conditions.

Balance 50% payment is collected on the Tour date by paying CASH to the Guide, if you can’t arrange the balance cash payment by the tour date before 72 hours (3 Days), you should make the balance payment to direct debit into our Bank account.

Payment can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Direct Deposit.

Conditions of Tour and Changes

1. It is your responsibility to arrive on time at the meeting point of the tour. In the event that you are delayed, please contact us via email or phone. You may be advice to meet the tour at an alternative location. If you and your party are the only group on the Tour then your Tour guide will wait for you, however, the Tour distance may be shortened. Your tour guide will attempt to sms or call you should you not arrive after 10 minutes of designated time.

2. After 15 - 20 minutes, if there is no communication and you have not arrived at the start time, the tour is deemed to have been cancelled by you. No refunds will be permitted in this instance.

3. The tour guide is not liable for tours that return later than the specified time. The tour guide will use its best efforts to ensure that departure and return times are met.

4. If your booking has been confirmed you may request to change the date of your tour, subject to availability and if 7 days notice is provided. If the schedule tour is less than 7 days, this is assessed on a case- by- case basis.

Should you change your Tour to a Tour; no refund will be given for tours of lesser value. For tours of greater value you will be invoiced the different plus credit card fees incurred.

Touring Code of Conduct

1. No Customer may smoke inside the car or van, take drugs or drink alcohol while on tour, No customer may start a tour while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Refunds will not be given for breaches of this clause, some tours may conclude with alcoholic drinks served and these will be served at licensed venue.

2. Tour will leave according to times stated on itineraries and will not wait for “latecomers”. We accept no responsibility for passengers failing to be designated pick up points at designated times, no refund is provided for passengers failing to meet our tour at designated times.

3. Pick up locations must be confirmed 24 hours prior to tour departure.

4. We accept no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

5. Passengers MUST be age over 18 years for consumption of alcohol at wineries.

6. Passengers must pay for yours prior to embarkation.

7. We are not obliged to refund the price of cancelled bookings.

8. Smoking is not permitted on our car or inside any winery buildings.

9. Uncontrollable and disruptive drunken behaviour will not be tolerated.

10. Wineries reserve the right to refuse service & entry. Disruptive person will not be allowed on the car. No alcohol is allowed on my Vehicle. No BYO food or drink is allowed in the wineries. Wineries do not have BYO license therefore you may not bring your own alcohol for consumption. Individuals are responsible for any damage inflicted on my vehicle or at any Wineries.

11. Weather Conditions:

  • In general all tours will run to schedule, except.
  • In the event of thunderstorms and lightning occurring prior to a tour commencing then the tour may be postponed by up to 30 to 45 minutes, after 30 minutes if the thunderstorm and lightning has not passed then the tour will be deemed cancelled and guests will offered a rescheduled tour or refund.
  • If the tour has commenced then the tour will stop at a cafe until the thunderstorm passes, the tour may be shortened in this instance.
  • In the event of flood a tour will be re-routed or altered.
  • In the event of a high temperatures (30 C to 36C), tour that operate in Yarra Valley and Seville. In the event of bush fire in the region covering heavy smoke in the Yarra valley winery areas with an option to re-schedule the tour to future date.
